Dr. Olayinka F. Longe

Dr. Longe has consummate experience in project management and has attained broad and thorough knowledge of project development, service delivery and management issues, and offers:
- Extensive experience initiating and implementing procurement programs
- Well-developed analytic skills and excellent understanding of the practical issues related to project management and sustainability
- Proven skills in managing personnel, finances, and time under diverse situations and scenarios
A 1982 graduate of medicine, Dr Longe ventured into consultancy in 1990 and has been involved in sustainable economic development projects in the Niger Delta Oil and Gas producing areas as well as in other parts of Nigeria. Dr Longe participated as a consultant in the NEEDS Niger Delta Environmental Survey in 1997- 1999, a survey of the Niger Delta funded by the Oil Producers Trade Section (OPTS) of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and various international foundations including the World Bank.
In 1998 in association with the UNDP, he worked on the NEEDS assessment of some Chevron Host communities. Also as a consultant to NAPIMS on Local Content Development in Nigeria, he contributed to the expansion of initiatives towards the increase of Nigerian Content development.

Since qualifying Francois progressed rapidly to senior management and partnership positions in project management consultancy on governmental and private developments taking executive responsibility for all aspects of construction and financial management and control of multi- million dollar projects. Francois is a tenacious and creative solution provider who can lead the team in the evaluation and procurement of viable commercial development opportunities and the structuring of turn-key developments inclusive of leases, finances and legal structures.
